Old Schoolhouse Brewery seeks a passionate, motivated brewer with attention to detail to join our award-winning brewery.

We have two breweries--one in the Old Schoolhouse right on the Chewuch River, a location where beer has been brewed since 1993 in western-themed downtown Winthrop. Our second location is our production facility, completed in 2019 in Twisp, located in the midst of an artist-focused nonprofit called TwispWorks. A remarkable opportunity has opened up to become a part of our award-winning brew team and live in the pristine Methow Valley in the North Cascade Mountains. Job duties include but are not limited to:

Completing brewhouse operations such as milling, mashing, lautering, boiling and wort cooling. Yeast handling, pitching and harvesting, grain out operations.

Cellar operations such as tank cleaning, beer transferring and monitoring gravities and carbonation levels.

Packaging operations include: keg filling, canning and bottling machine operation.

Employee must frequently lift 55 lbs and move/lift kegs that are 130 lbs.

High School Diploma with advanced education in the brewing process.

Brewing experience preferred. Compensation determined on experience. 

Interest in mountain biking, river trips, cross country skiing, backcountry skiing, hiking, and trail running encouraged.
