The average person will need three rounds of therapy to make sure the plantar warts will not return. More sessions may be required, depending on the individual’s immune response and age.

Swift therapy is highly effective in eliminating plantar warts. The device is provided with a specialized probe that is used to direct the low dose microwave energy precisely to the area affected by the HPV. As a safety mechanism, to avoid cross-contamination, the applicator probe has a built-in sensor that can detect if the tip of the applicator has already been used, preventing the Swift machine from running until a new and unused tip is attached to the applicator.
